A good preparation for exams is arguably the most important thing you can give your child. However, gaining access to good quality exam sitting opportunities especially outside the traditional school system can often be difficult. Here at Bright Young Things we have been looking into different ways to help pupils sit exams outside the school network.
The Access Exam Project
Bright Young Things have teamed up with Maple Education to look at ways to deliver scholarships to pupils who would otherwise be unable to afford the fees for exams.
The Access Exam Project is designed to part fund pupils who cannot afford the entrance fees for taking an exam in an exam centre. Pupils will be means tested to see if they meet the requirements for the project.
Trialling in the Bright Young Things exam centres and Maple Education we aim to demonstrate how exam access outside the school network can be improved for pupils who are often the most vulnerable in missing the exam part of their education. At Bright Young Things, we are committed to providing excellent academic support to every student – no matter what their circumstances are.
It is why we consistently deliver bespoke education to all of our students through our agency in London, through our tuition centres, and to our international clients all over the world.
Bright Young Things Scholarships
We know that the British education system is complex, and that – with a plethora of choices – a British education can offer students certain levels of privilege that other students cannot access. We are determined to deliver the most fulfilling education journey possible to all of our students, allowing each and every one to achieve their academic potential.
As such, we are delighted to announce the launch of BYT Scholarships: an initiative that will offer help to students who are less able to access extracurricular support.
How does it work?
The BYT Scholarship scheme will provide discounted tuition packages for children qualifying for free school meals in our tuition centres in Harrow, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Chesham and St Albans. We have reserved 5% of places in our centres for these students in the hopes of furthering our mission of enabling access to high quality education for all. Please get in touch to find out more.
