Whether you have already decided you want to study in London or you are still considering your options, we wanted to share with you the top 7 places to study and why.
- London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London (LSE)
- LSE is based right in the heart of central London. It is a brilliant place to study the social sciences such as Politics and Economics.
- Imperial College London
- Imperial College London is the “only university focusing entirely on science, engineering, medicine and business, Imperial is truly unique.” It also has over 380 student clubs and societies to join!
- UCL (University College London)
- There is a great focus on research at UCL. The university has been rated the top in the UK for “research strength in the Research Excellence Framework”. Projects have been supported by the Duchess of Cambridge – this project focuses on” how early life experience shape the human brain.”
- King’s College London, University of London
- King’s College London has brilliant global links – it has more than 150 partner institutions. There’s even the possibility to do a Joint Phd with an international partner.
- Royal Holloway, University of London Clearing
- Situated just outside London this University offers the best of both worlds, close links to the city but in peaceful and green surroundings. It was also one of the first women’s colleges in the UK in 1886!
- Queen Mary University of London

- University of the Arts London
- At this University you can study a huge range of arts subjects such as Fine Art, Sculpture and Fashion Management. It’s a hub of creativity!

Each of these Universities will be the best at something different. LSE might be the best choice for someone wanting to study Politics. When researching what Universities to apply for, its important to really consider what you want out of the University experience.
