We are searching for outstanding centre directors who can manage, scale and drive their centres. With an emphasis on management, the centre directors will be in charge of pupils, tutors and their assistant, in order to optimize their centre operations.

Bright Young Things is one of the fastest growing education firms in the UK. Building tuition centres in towns across the country, we provide a highly focused learning environment for students across the age range, to maximise their chances in academic exams. From 11 Plus to A-levels, Bright Young Things is building a country-wide network of centres where students can take their exams outside the school environment.

Start Date: ASAP.

Locations – London, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Who we are looking for:

  • The successful centre directors have a keen eye on the action and relish challenges. You have a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful and will have examples of where you have excelled in the past.
  • We are looking for a confident, personable candidate who is looking for a great opportunity to learn to manage a substantial and rapidly growing business.

The non negotiable:

A strong degree, both in subject and in result. Though we are not expecting you to be top of the class we strongly believe that attitude is as important as grades. A keen interest in management and innovation actively deployed in a fast growing organisation.

A background in sales, marketing or business development and a sound knowledge and interest in education are all highly desirable

Your Position:

Bright Young Things centres are a hub of activity for parents, tutors and students alike. You will be at the centre of it all. Your role will be to leverage your understanding in deploying academic solutions to the pupils with the help of the tutors and your assistants. There is not an expectation that you will know all the answers but with the help of your tutors and the BYT HQ you will.

Parents will look to you for guidance. Through your leadership skills you will be able to guide the parents to the best answer regarding their child’s education.

This role is clearly a business development role and you will be actively developing marketing strategies to attract more parents.

Tutor management – You will identify and source local tutors keeping them up to date with training.

Process and systemisation:

We all know that a smooth operation of any business is the active improvement of current systems. We believe in constant improvement through iteration and you will lead this improvement.
