Coding Classes

CODING CLASSES AT BYT

We’re excited to be working in partnership with DiscoG Coding Academy to bring coding classes to our centres in Harrow and High Wycombe.

Learning to code can be a huge benefit to your child’s key logic and numerical skills. The courses on offer give an introduction to computer programming, coding, and basic operating systems.

Coding classes run four days a week in BYT Harrow and will be featuring in the Summer School at BYT High Wycombe.

There are three age ranges supported in the Code Academy’s classes:

Mini Coders (aged 6-8)

The course will give young students an early foundation in computing.

Young Coders (aged 9-14)

This course is designed to give a full introduction to the world of computer programming. In addition to learning mathematics and computational ideas, students will also be learning key strategies for solving problems.

Junior Coders (GCSE)

Designed to offer full support for the new KS4 Computer Science GCSE curriculum and covers OCR, Edexcel and AQA examination boards.
