Director of Education | Bright Young Things 

Location: BYT Centres (Harrow, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Chesham, St Albans)

 

About the role:

Working as part of management in our beautiful education centres, the primary responsibility of the Director of Education is to ensure quality of service by recruiting and developing an excellent team of tutors. The Director of Education ensures that our curriculum is delivered to the highest standard and that our students consistently progress toward their academic goals.

  Responsibilities include: 

  • Recruitment – managing recruitment channels, preparing and holding all interviews 
  • Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service – building strong relationships 
  • Managing our curriculum – ensuring all lessons are prepared and delivered to the highest possible quality 
  • Sales – training, as well as regular feedback, will be given to build your skills and confidence
  • Management – training and developing your tutor team 
  • Managing finance and invoicing

  • Highly organised, able to delegate and able to meet deadlines 
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to use initiative and share fresh ideas with management 
  • Work well independently as well as with the rest of our incredible management team
  • A superb communicator
  • Have knowledge of and interest in the U.K. education system and national curriculum
