National Tutoring Programme

Bright Young Things are proud to be helping pupils and schools affected by the pandemic by offering them our top quality and bespoke tuition.

What is the NTP?

The National Tutoring Programme has been set up by the Department for Education. It has been designed to support students who’s learning has been affected by the Covid19 pandemic.

Through the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) Tuition Partners strand, schools can access high-quality tutoring from an approved list of tutoring partners, who have met the Tutoring Partner Quality Standards and Accreditation Criteria.

There are three options for tutoring support through the NTP. They are: Tuition Partners, Academic Mentors and School-Led tutoring.

BYT is an approved Tuition Partner!

We are honoured to have been selected as Tuition Partners. To be approved as a Tuition Partner we had to meet Tutoring Partner Quality Standards and Accreditation Criteria.

NTP Tuition Partners funding covers a range of different tuition models, including online and face-to-face, as well as 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 ratios. The overarching aim of the Tuition Partner strand is that 80% of sessions will be delivered on a 1:3 ratio, with sessions of 1:1 and 1:2 largely reserved for pupils with additional needs and exceptional cases.

Bright Young Things are working with schools to provide our customary bespoke tuition to their students in all ratios.
