Chemistry

Chemistry

Chemistry is sometimes known as the ‘central science’ due to its relationship with the other scientists. Whether your child would like support in general science or to chemistry specifically, our expert tutors are available to help.

Bright Young Things chemistry tutors have all graduated with chemistry degrees from Oxbridge or Russell Group Universities and are able to help students cover a variety of topics, including (but not limited to):

  • The particulate nature of matter
  • Atoms, elements and compounds
  • Pure and impure substances
  • Chemical reactions
  • The periodic table
  • Earth and atmosphere
  • Materials

As well as helping students to understand these key concepts, our tutors will instil a sense of enquiry into your child, helping him or her to understand how chemistry can explain the world in which we live, whether a younger learner or in the later stages of education (GCSE, A-Level).

For potential undergraduates, we can assist with UCAS and Oxbridge applications.
