I grew up in Wheathampstead and attended Sir John Lawes School in Harpenden, completing A Levels in Mathematics, English Literature, History and French. In 2015 I graduated from Downing College, University of Cambridge with a 1st Class degree in Law. Last year I spent time working as the research assistant to Judge Vajda at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, worked a ski season as a chalet host in Verbier and travelled around Thailand and Vietnam. I am now completing the Bar Course (BPTC) in London and I plan to begin working as a Pupil Barrister in October 2017.

I started off at Maple Primary School before moving to St Albans High School for Girls. I have also been educated in New York, at an international school, for a year. I achieved 10 GCSEs at A* grade, and completed A Levels in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry, as well as an AS Level in Biology. I sat the ACT and the subject SATs for the US further education system, and once I’ve completed my degree in natural sciences, I hope to study for a masters degree.

My name is Saima and I'm currently in my final year of studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire. At University, I am a student ambassador for the school of Life and Medical Sciences where I assist in applicant processes and promote applications to universities. After completing my degree, I aspire to work as a biomedical scientist along with studying for Masters in Research.

Although St Albans is my hometown, I lived in Peterborough for a number of years where I studied English Language, Sociology and Business Studies for my A Level studies. I moved to London in 2015 to study for a BA honours in Linguistics at University College London. An opportunity arose in tutoring, and I began teaching in locations across London preparing students to take their GCSE exams. I also started working as a Team Leader for NCS. An experience which allowed me to work closely with teenagers by guiding them through an experience full of challenges to test their strengths and weaknesses. I have returned to St Albans, and continue to study at UCL. My career aspiration is to practice as a Speech and Language therapist. My enthusiasm for language is what I would like to share with others, to enable them to see and understand language in such a way that I do.

I am a budding physicist currently in my final year at the University of Hertfordshire. The head tutor at Bright Young Things St Albans, specialising in Maths and Sciences I have a wealth of experience tutoring for a wide range of examinations including the 11+, SATS, GCSE, A-level and Eton College entrance. I am dedicated to employing an individualised tutoring experience for each and every child, assessing strengths and weaknesses, tailoring a syllabus perfect for progression and excellence.

I am an Aerospace Engineering Graduate with a years experience working alongside major aerospace manufacturers such as BAE Systems, Airbus and Rolls Royce. I am currently studying for a Research Masters in high altitude aerodynamics and then planning to begin on a PhD program in the future. My specialist areas are Maths, Physics and Design Technology.
