Bright Young Things Tuition Centres in Harrow, St Albans and High Wycombe are all registered with Ofsted as official child care providers.
Childcare Vouchers (CCV):
We are able to offer payment through Childcare Vouchers (CCV) as a tax-efficient way to save money on your monthly membership costs.
You can set the Childcare Voucher in the form of a deduction to your salary pre tax and National Insurance. As this is set before tax and NI contributions come out of your salary it’s an effective way of reducing tax.
Speak to your Human Resources department to find out more regarding eligibility.
(In fact more people are eligible than they initially realise and CCV is a scheme that all employers are able to register for.)
Working Tax Credit:
You may qualify for extra tax credits to help pay for some of your childcare costs while you are working. The amount that you’re eligible for is dependent on your household income and situation, but you would be elligible if:
- You’re a single parent, working over 16 hours per week.
- A couple where both parents are working over 30 hours per week.
- The childcare you pay for is registered or approved (like Bright Young Things)
You can find out whether you’re entitled to working tax credits for childcare by either visiting www.gov.uk/childcare-costs-for-tax-credits or calling the HMRC helpline on 0345 300 3900.
